| Although Scotia
Highland Dancers is a Performance troupe, our dancers
continue to compete at regular Competitions and
Championships. The success that many of our dancers have
in competitions speaks highly of the calibre of dancing
that our audiences can expect when we perform.
On May 3, 2003,
twenty-four of our dancers traveled to North Sydney
to compete in the 2003 Nova Scotia Closed Highland
Dance Championship. Our dancers excelled winning
a total of 47 medals and 10 major prizes!
