Antigonish Highland Games

July 15 and July 16, 2006
All competitions will be carried out under the rules and
regulations of the Atlantic Canada Pipe Band Association.
Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. leaving from Oland Centre, St. Francis Xavier University.
All bands are required to participate in order to receive a performance fee.
All competitors must report to the Steward's tent upon arrival for time check and playing positions. Players and bands failing to show at the allotted time will be disqualified.
Runners will not be provided. Competitors must present themselves to the steward or their judge two minutes prior to their posted playing time.
All entrants who provide a SSAE will receive notice of receipt of entry. Order of play can be requested at the field gates on Friday evening, July 14, 2006.
Up to two playing positions in each section will be reserved for competitors from outside the Maritimes. They may register up to 30 minutes before their event.
All entries must be postmarked on or before June 9, 2006. Late entries will not be accepted from within the Maritimes.
Travel monies will be paid each day to bands that perform in the massed bands and street parade.
Band draw for order of play will be done in advance and order posted by Friday evening, July 14, 2006.
There will be no refund of entry fees submitted.
Grade 2 Bands who play up to Grade 1 will not receive prize money if they place last.
Piper/Drummer of the Games in each grade will be determined by a point system, which will be posted at the Steward's tent.
